Overview
Google Pay was a major project spanning over 1.5 years in the making. This launched involved merging the P2P functionality in the Google Wallet app, into one unified payment system. The P2P design system went through a major overhaul involving numerous user studies to ensure we perfected the experience .
I led the P2P design process from ux strategy, early concepts, multiple user studies (for both the app and web experiences), finalizing pixel perfect mocks, and worked 1:1 with engineering to craft the final experience.
My influenced reached beyond my own ux team. I designed new design patterns which the Payments Platform team adopted. I traveled to Mountain View to work 1:1 with the engineering team to build relationships, and ensure the ux was built to perfection.
